Cancellation, Returns & Refund

This document is an electronic record that establishes the Cancellation, Returns & Refund Policy that governs the products purchased through this website(www.shopatmaya.com).​

For the purpose of this document "You","Your","Customer","User","Users" shall mean any person(s) and/or legal entity(ies) who visits, uses or transact at the website in any way and the terms "We", "Us", "Our","MAYAA" is used to represent this website(shopatmaya.com).

 

CONDITIONS FOR RETURN

Returns and Refund are allowed only if a wrong order i.e. product different from what was ordered is delivered.

1. In the event you receive a wrong order, we must be notified through the Contact Page within 24 hours of order delivery.

 

2. Products should be returned unworn, unused, unwashed, in their original packaging along with the essentials which are original or accompanying tags, labels, packing, barcodes, invoices, accessories, freebies and original packaging as applicable. 

 

3.If any product is returned without the essentials or are damaged due to Users negligence such as improper packaging and handling leading to damage to the product or product essentials shall not be accepted for return.​

PRE-ORDERED/PRE-BOOKED

Pre-ordered/Pre-booked products are pre-paid orders that are booked before its official launch with us. These orders take

8 -11 days to dispatch after order confirmation.These are not eligible for cancellation and returns. If such an order is cancelled, no refunds will be made.

ORDER RECEIVING GUIDELINES

Inspect the package before accepting it. If at the time of order delivery you notice signs of tampering,Do not accept itYou must take a picture of the package such that it clearly displays the shipping label and the damaged/tampered packaging and immediately reach out to us through the Contact page. 

In the event where the product could have been damaged in transit or has noticeable evidence of tampering during transit we will refund you full amount or send a replacement as applicable after discussing with you. This may take  4 to 10 business days on average. You must  not accept tampered packages and report to us immediately with proof of package tampering. However, if you accept such package or fail to report to us with proof of package tampering we will not be responsible and no returns or refunds will be made in such circumstances.

 RETURN PICKUP 

  • In the event the logistics service provider makes attempts to pick-up the product and you are unavailable or not ready to handover the product, We or logistics service provider will not be responsible for the delay in pick-up or processing of the quality check and applicable refund. A maximum of 2 attempts will be made by the logistics service provider to pick-up the product to be returned by you. Beyond 2 attempts the return request will be cancelled and a new return request for the same order/product(s) will not be accepted. 

ORDER CANCELLATION

If the User wants to cancel the order, it must be done within 24 hours of order confirmation or product dispatch, whichever is earlier.It must be done through Contact page. In such event, refunds will be made after deducting payment gateway fee.

​We also reserve the right to cancel or not accept orders due to various reasons that may include reasons such as unavailability of products, wrong product or price listing on the website, or for alerts on payment related or fraudulent practices issues, etc. In the event  where We cancel the order due to the following reasons

  • Technical errors or issue,

  • Any reason relating to credit / fraud avoidance,

  • Due to incorrect pricing or product specifications on the website/webstore,

  • Due to product unavailability

Our decision to accept or cancel an order shall remain final and binding. We reserve the right at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for any reason whatsoever without any further liability. No cancellation is allowed for pre-ordered/pre-booked products

Order(s) may also be  cancelled if :

  • Invalid/Incorrect/Incomplete shipping address is provided by the User during checkout that makes order dispatch difficult.

  • Order is refused at doorstep or not accepted  even after three(3) delivery attempts .

We strive to process all orders in timely manner. However, there may be exceptional circumstances where we may not be able  to process an order after having sent the Order Confirmation. We reserve the right to do so and in such event, we will make full refunds to the original mode of payment.In the event that we cancel an order, we will notify you by contacting through email or sms. 

ACCURATE SHIPPING INFORMATION

If you have mistakenly provided an incomplete or incorrect address and wish to update the shipping address you must reach us out thus through Contact page  within 24 hours of order confirmation or before the order dispatch whichever is earlier. If you fail to do so, and the delivery is not possible due to incorrect shipping address, we or logistics service provider will not be responsible for the delay or non-delivery of the order. The order will be cancelled and in such a case the refund will be made after deducting the payment gateway fee and applicable shipping charges.

For address correction after dispatch, additional shipping costs will have to be borne by you in order to receive the shipment or else the order will be cancelled.

PAYMENT GATEWAY FEE

For domestic cards, netbanking and wallets the payment gateway fee charged is 2% along with 18% GST on the fee.

For international, Diners and Amex cards the payment gateway fee charged is 3% along with 18% GST on the fee.

DIGITAL PRODUCTS

Digital Products are not eligible for cancellation, returns and refunds.

REFUNDS

Refunds are provided for returned or cancelled products, subject to eligibility as per this Returns & Cancellation Policy.

Refund will be offered only in cases where :

1. The returned product(s) are unworn, unused, unwashed, in their original packaging along with the essentials which are original or accompanying tags, labels, packing, barcodes, invoices, accessories, freebies and original packaging as applicable. 

If any product is returned without the essentials or are damaged due to Users negligence such as improper packaging and handling leading to damage to the product(s) or product essentials shall not be refunded.​

2. If Cancellation request is raised within 24 hours of order confirmation or before the order dispatch, whichever is earlier, You will be refunded after deducting payment gateway fees.

If the cancellation of an order is due to:

  • Invalid/Incorrect/Incomplete address provided by the User during checkout, Refunds will be made after deducting payment gateway fee and shipping charges.

  • Order is refused at doorstep or not accepted  even after three(3) delivery attempts , Refunds will be made after deducting 60% of the order value including payment gateway fee and shipping charges.   

We shall refund the full amount to the original mode of payment in the following circumstances:

  • Wrong or incorrect order is delivered,

  • Order is cancelled  by Us due to technical errors or issue,

  • Order is cancelled by Us due to incorrect pricing or product specifications on the website,

  • Order is cancelled by Us due to product unavailability.

 

We reserve the right to not offer refund for order(s) which 

  •     That are being returned after use, washing , or 

  •    That are damaged due to your negligence or which are not returned with all the accompanying tags and accessories, as the case maybe.

  •     the return request is raised after the completion of 24 hours from order delivery.

  •     No refunds for pre-ordered/pre-booked products.

Refund will be initiated only upon receiving the product(s) and after passing quality checks.Refunds will be made to the original mode of payment.Refunds are normally processed within 2-12 working days.

In case of delay in credit of refund, you may reach us through Contact page or choose to  contact the bank you hold an account with. There is usually a processing time for each bank or payment channel only after which the refund is credited  to the account. 

 

If the request for returns does not align with the conditions set in this Returns & Cancellation Policy, you will not be eligible for Returns and/or Refund. Our decision regarding the refusal or cancellation shall be final and binding. You further agree not to hold us liable for any refusal or cancellation.

We value our customers and  will do our best to resolve any issue that you may have.

We urge the Users to read all our policies including this, Terms & ConditionsPrivacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery policies carefully before using this website. When using this website or placing an order on it, the User is bound by all our policies. Accessing, browsing or otherwise using the website will be construed as User’s unequivocal and irrevocable acceptance and acknowledgement to the Terms & Conditions and binding policies hereof. By using this website, the User declares to have carefully read, understood and agree to be bound by this Cancellation, Returns & Refund policy.It is the User’s responsibility to read them periodically, as policies at the time of using this website or concluding of the relevant contract shall be those that apply.Continued use of this website shall constitute Users acceptance of the modified or updated Terms & Conditions.

This section sets out the Returns, Refund & Cancellation policy of MAYAA. This policy applies to all products sold through MAYAA(SHOPATMAYA.COM). The terms ‘We', 'Us', 'Our' is used to represent MAYAA and ‘You’, 'Your', ‘Customer’, ‘User’ is used for the customer purchasing from us.
